Specifically on my team, I've run into 0 issues of ego and feel like I'm being given all the tools to really flourish here. It's clear that GWG is selective about who they choose to work with them and that's clear with every interaction I have. After just a few short months at the company, my manager was already having discussions with me about how I'd like to grow in the role, outside of the role, etc. Not only are these individuals smart, motivated, talented, and knowledgeable, but at least on my team, they're the kindest and most supportive people I've ever had the privilege of working with. I am on a large and growing team at GWG and have yet to work with someone that I didn't genuinely like. Outside of the benefits of this company, they have a serious talent in hiring really fantastic people. The benefits are fantastic (12 weeks of fully paid Maternity AND Paternity leave after 1 year at the company), and the work is exciting and ever-changing! We also have Flex Friday's during the summer we're you're encouraged to make all efforts to log off at 12PM. We have 2 company summits every year where we get the opportunity to learn and have fun with coworkers in person, while also potentially experiencing a new city we've never been to. But even IF I needed to take of PTO, it's unlimited (actually unlimited, unlike what other similar companies will state). As a fully remote company, I can work anywhere I want without having to take off PTO. At risk of sounding like I'm drinking the punch, this company actually walks the walk. This is a company that really prides itself on the work we do and assigns action to their words. From stressful start-up's, to recognized global agencies, to big tech, I've experienced virtually all notable 'flavor's of a company in my field. I haven't been at this company for very long, but I have been in my industry for 5 years and have experienced all levels of work environments.
